Team17 today announced the signing of Blacklight Interactive’s indie hit Golf With Your Friends to its games label.
Thus, Team17 becomes a “full creative partner in all aspects of development as well as publishing on their games label” for the sports title. The signing also gives the Golf With Your Friends developers access to Team17’s development resources which have contributed to titles such as Overcooked! 2.

Since its release on Steam Early Access back in 2016, Golf With Your Friends has sold over a million copies.
As for what it offers, Golf With Your Friends currently includes a total of seven 18-hole courses, alongside three modes (Classic, Dunk, Hockey) and the option of creating custom ones. Sessions allow up to 12 players to take part.
Several gameplay modifiers such as different ball shapes, jumping or low gravity change the way in which matches play out, while balls can be customized with items such as hats, trails and floaties.
