Halo 5: Guardians will soon be the only mainline Halo release not to be making its way to PC, which is - as virtually everyone's come to the same conclusion - a tad odd.
Halo 5 Steam might not be that big of a stretch, however, given the latest developments in how Microsoft intends to release the previously console-exclusive FPS hits. Down below, we'll discuss what we know about it so far.
Will Halo 5 Come to Steam?</h2>
As everyone and their mum knows by now, the legendary Halo: Master Chief Collection will be coming out on Steam episodically, and in a chronological fashion. Microsoft will start by releasing Halo: Reach campaign, only to wrap things up with Halo 4 sometime later on.
Halo Infinite was announced as a dedicated PC release from the very start, which means that - soon enough - Halo 5 will be the only primary Halo game not to come out on PC and Steam.
Another thing worth keeping in mind is that Halo 5: Forge is already on PC, which means that the game's engine and portion of its assets has been ported to the platform beforehand. Putting all of this together makes us think that Halo 5 will be coming out on Steam, too, and that it's only a matter of time before Microsoft announced this to be the case.
