The most powerful beings in the Warcraft universe are being introduced in Hearthstone’s new expansion, Titans. Godlike plays will be made as the expansion introduces 145 new cards, including 11 new legendary cards.
Each class will get its very own Titan. Imbued with raw power and roaming the cosmos, these Titans will bring value to the game board and order to the world of Azeroth.
Following the Festival of Legends expansion, Titan will be Hearthstone’s second expansion for the Year of the Wolf. It’s coming with a new keyword, unique mechanics, and locations in the grand city of Ulduar. The lore takes place in the distant past. After battling the Old Gods, the Titans, celestial-born pantheon gods, plan to reshape the World-Soul of Azeroth.
Each of the 11 classes will obtain its very own unique Titan. The mighty minions with the titan keyword will not attack during their turn, but instead, use 3 powerful, single-use abilities that can be chosen upon a turn. Upon the fourth turn of surviving and exhausting all three powers, the Titan can unleash a normal attack like any other minion.
Hearthstone’s Titans Expansion Release Date and what to expect
Before the 27.0 update that will include the expansion, the 26.6 patch will roll out with the new Twist mode, replacing Classic. However, players will not have to wait too long as the Titan expansion is coming to Hearthstone on August 1, 2023, and by logging in now, players can obtain a free Prison of Yogg-Saron legendary neutral card to the collection.
Powerful celestial beings like Eonar the Life Bender will join Hearthstone. She is the Druid Titan and her primary goal is to fill Azeroth with a variety of lush ecosystems and wildlife. Her ability is to conjure a powerful Taunt minion each turn to change the course of the game. Other Titans include Norgannon, the Mage Titan that, with each attack, doubles the numbers of each effect used. Hodir, the father of giants and the Hunter Legendary Keeper allows the next three minions played to have eight attacks and health.
Each Titan presents brand new abilities which add godlike flare to the game board. Within the fascinating city of Ulduar, locations will include decorated temples, ingenious libraries, and massive forges. Speaking of forges, the new Forge keyword allows players to harness the craftsmanship of the Titans. Players will only need to use two mana which will get them a Forge card for their deck to hash out an extra ability. Many new techniques and mechanics will be included in this new expansion.
