Included in the Democratic Detonation Warbond, the BR-14 Adjudicator weapon is a blend between the current archetype of the assault rifles and marksman rifles in Helldivers 2.
As such it has caught the eye of many players who are looking for something with more range than an assault rifle, able to hit harder, and still has the fast fire rate that assault rifles are known for.
But how does the gun shape up overall and what is our review of the Helldivers 2 BR-14 Adjudicator?
Should you add the BR-14 Adjudicator to your loadout?
The BR-14 Adjudicator in Helldivers 2 is a fantastic weapon - provided it is in the right hands. The gun takes a lot of skill to use compared to most of the other rifles in the game right now. While accurate, sustained fire can cause it to jump around like crazy and make it incredibly hard to control.
The best use of the BR-14 Adjudicator is to burst fire it while in its full auto mode. This has the best balance when it comes to damage output while ensuring you can still control the weapon. The extra firepower it offers from being a part-marksman rifle means that it can take out armored enemies much faster than a lot of other rifles in the game.
This means medium-tier Terminids and armored Automatons will die a lot faster than if you were using one of the other assault rifles in the game. As this isn’t a full marksman rifle, it also means you have greater mobility and can stay on the move when fleeing hordes of enemies or trying to get to the dropship.
Therefore, the BR-14 Adjudicator is definitely not something to gloss over. However, you will want to get a feel for the gun and also test it out, so you can make the most of its unique archetype.
