Like its predecessors, Hitman 3 also has a globe-trotting element to its missions. The third and final game in the World of Assassination trilogy will complete the generous list of places Agent 47 can visit with six new locations and maps at launch, and possibly more afterwards.
Some of Hitman 3’s locations and maps have been confirmed by publisher and developer IO Interactive in the lead-up to release, giving us a better idea of what to expect. Each one comes with its own particularities, Agent 47 having to blend in with high society in luxurious skyscrapers as well as navigating repurposed power plants. Below, we’ve listed all of Hitman 3’s confirmed locations and maps that we currently know about.
Hitman 3 Confirmed Locations and Maps
- Dubai, United Arab Emirates - Burj Al-Ghazali
- Dartmoor, England - Thornbridge Manor
- Berlin, Germany - Club Hölle
- Chongqing, China
- Mendoza, Argentina
- Carpathian Mountains, Romania
Dubai was the first location that IO Interactive confirmed for Hitman 3 and it’s quite something. Agent 47’s target waits inside the Burj Al-Ghazali, which happens to be the tallest building in the world. Players will also have to step outside of its luxurious, gold-plated interiors and sneak around the exterior of the building’s superior levels which pierce the clouds. Luckily, trained assassins carry oxygen masks when needed, so you really just have to watch your step.
Dartmoor, England is the second confirmed location that Hitman 3 players will get to explore. Not quite as tall as the previous one, but certainly not devoid of luxury, the Thornbridge Manor sees Agent 47 putting on his detective hat as he’s thrown in the middle of a murder mystery. There’s a family with a dark past, a suspicious suicide and plenty of secrets behind the manor’s walls.
Chogqing, China was also shown off last year. The neon-lit transportation hub were ideal to showcase the Glacier engine’s latest improvements. Here, Agent 47 has to navigate packed streets and crammed alleyways hunting for his target.
While it didn’t get the full trailer treatment, Berlin, Germany was confirmed as another of Hitman 3’s locations. The mission will take Agent 47 to a repurposed power plant that now houses Club Hölle, where he must track down his target while getting a taste of the city’s colorful nightlife.
The final two revealed Hitman 3 locations are Mendoza, Argentina and the Carpathian Mountains in Romania. The former takes Agent 47 to through a beautiful vineyard, while the latter sees the protagonist returning to where it all began.
Hitman 3 launches on January 20. If you plan on picking up the PC version on Steam, you’re in for a longer wait.
