If you’re having an issue with your CSGO inventory being unavailable, then you’re not alone. Many players have reported this issue, which prevents them from opening their inventory, selling, buying, or trading items.
This issue can be difficult to diagnose and fix, but luckily, you can try a few things to get your Counter-Strike: Global Offensive inventory back up and running on Steam. Check out these methods below.
CSGO Inventory Unavailable Fix
First and foremost, try refreshing the page. This is a simple but effective way to get the inventory to show up. Sometimes, the issue can be caused by an unstable internet connection, so simply refreshing the page should do the job.
If that doesn’t work, try restarting Steam or logging out and then back in. This may help to reset any connection issues and get the inventory to show up.
Another method to fix this issue is deleting all of the folders in the Steam folder, except for the “steamapps” folder, as this is where your Steam games are stored. Doing this will delete any corrupted files, which can sometimes be the root of many problems.
Your Steam folder should be in C: Program Files > Steam. However, if you don’t remember where you installed Steam, you can right-click your Steam shortcut and select “open file location” to quickly open your Steam folder.
If none of these solutions work, then there’s still one more thing you can try. You can head over to the SteamDB status page to check if Steam is experiencing server issues. If the servers are fine, consider restarting your network or updating your game to see if that helps.
Unfortunately, there’s not a lot you can do if the servers are down. You’ll just need to wait until the servers are back online again to access your CSGO inventory.
