League of Legends Patch 10.21 is now live, its patch notes revealing its release date alongside the addition of new Odyssey skins.
LoL Patch 10.21’s release date occurred according to Riot’s patch schedule, being slated for Wednesday, October 14, which is when the changes are set to hit live servers.
The LoL 10.21 maintenance schedule is usually revealed closer to launch. Usually, it takes about 3 hours for patches to be deployed. Checking our League of Legends Server Status article is a good way to keep yourself informed on server downtime caused by patch deployment or other reasons.
LoL Patch 10.21
LoL 10.21 brings no less than nine new skins for players to test. We’re looking at a mixture of new Odyssey skins alongside four others that let players prepare some of their champions for Halloween.
These include Odyssey Aatrox (1350 RP), Odyssey Karma (1350 RP), Odyssey Kha’Zix (1350 RP), Odyssey Sivir (1350 RP), Odyssey Twisted Fate (1350 RP), Hextech Kassadin (10 Gemstones), Pumpkin Prince Amumu (1350 RP), Bewitching Elise (1350 RP), and Little Devil Fizz (1350 RP).
As is customary, Riot KateyKhaos has provided turnaround images for each of the League of Legends Patch 10.21 skins, helping players get a clearer idea of these new additions.
After a period of silence, the first set of LoL 10.21 balance changes have arrived on the PBE, bringing buffs for Aphelios.
Riot Games has also outlined a massive amount of preseason changes that will be available to test for an extended period of six weeks, up until November.
Lead Gameplay Designer Mark Yetter has shared an almost final version of the patch preview, giving us a better idea of the champion changes coming in League of Legends’ Patch 10.21.
Samira, Hecarim and Camille will receive nerfs while champions like Corki, Lee Sin and Karma will be buffed.

In a post on the official League of Legends website, the developer also explained how it will juggle both Preseason and patch testing in the coming weeks:

- Fixed an issue where Mac players would see unusual fullscreen brightness when certain champions would appear on screen
- Fixed a bug where Amumu would not apply Passive - Cursed Touch through AoE damage abilities
- Corrected Nami's W - Ebb and Flow's AP ratio in the tooltip from 1.5 AP to 0.5 AP
- PsyOps Sona now correctly plays her transformation animation even when moving while leveling up R - Crescendo
- Added a yellow ring under targets affected by Zed’s Passive - Contempt for the Weak to match similar passive indicators on Jarvan, Ekko, and Shaco. </ul>
