Lost Ark has broken a handful of very impressive records over the last week, making it one of the most popular MMOs Steam has ever had. This huge launch comes with its fair share of problems and the error code 10027 is among the most prevalent. Here’s what it is and what you can do to get around it.
What is The Lost Ark 10027 Error Code?
Lost Ark Error 10027, as the code states when it pops up, is a sign that the servers for the game are currently congested. It can’t let anyone else in as they are too full. Generally, you will then be placed in a queue where you will just have to wait in line until the game has place for you.
You won’t time out on this screen so you can just leave it running in the background while you sort other things out. If you feel you have time to play the game in an hour or so, going in and queuing in advance isn’t a bad idea.
Can you fix this?
You can’t jump ahead of the queue or fix the current server suffering from that problem but there is a workaround. If you fancy trying out a new class in the game, try them out on a different server. This will then give you the greatest chance of getting a game. Some servers are busier than others so you may get lucky with a game if you pick the right one.
If you plan on having more than a handful of characters, you could choose to place them on a few different servers to give yourself a wide spread of opportunities. If you don’t like the idea of doing this, you may just have to wait until the servers sort themselves out. The team behind Lost Ark know how popular the game is so it’s only a matter of time until it gets more robust server support. Give it a week or two and the game should be a little easier to get up and running.
