Istanbul-based indie studio Proud Dinosaurs has announced that Macrotis: A Mother’s Journey, its upcoming title, is set to launch on PC, via Steam, on February 8.
The 2.5D puzzle-platformer will be available for the price of $9.99 or your regional equivalent.
Macrotis: A Mother’s Journey follows a mother bilby’s attempt to reunite with her children after being separated by a devastating flood. The game will be fully voiced and promises “old school level design packed with thought-provoking puzzles that seek to test players non-linear approach to puzzle platformers.”
As far as gameplay goes, the title features a mixture of platforming and environmental puzzling where “the mother bilby is bestowed with a variety of natural and supernatural abilities that will aid players along the way to save the bilby’s children and end the unnatural storm.”.
