What’s the release date for Two Point Museum? Two Point Studios has been hinting at its reveal for a few weeks now, but we can finally confirm that the third entry in the humorous Two Point simulation franchise will be Two Point Museum.
It’s got that classic Two Point Studio humour, very much like a video game of Night at the Museum, but we can expect plenty of gags along the way as we acquire rare artifacts and display them in our exhibits while making a profit from all the interesting visitors that will make their way to your Museums.
Two Point Museum Release Date
SEGA has confirmed that the release date for Two Point Museum is set for 4th March, 2025 on PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 with pre-orders now available on all platforms.
Design Director, Ben Huskins said “We have been thrilled to see such a great reception after announcing Two Point Museum in August. Since then, we have had the opportunity to show off Two Point Museum publicly at Gamescom and reveal our Marine Life theme with Xbox as part of the Xbox Gamescom showcase.
Now, we’re incredibly excited to confirm Two Point Museum will launch on March 4th. We can’t wait to share more about the game with you shortly, so stay tuned as we reveal more themes, exhibits and artifacts from the game in the coming months!”
Pre-ordering Two Point Museum unlocks access to Sonic-themed items including Sonic and Shadow staff outfits, guest gift shop outfits, and plushies for museum guests to purchase.
The first details for Two Point Museum have been revealed
Here’s a lenghy overview sent to us by Sega:
As you unearth strange exhibits, the endless star scoring system encourages you to tweak the layout of your museum depending on what you discover. You’ll need to revisit your old collections, showcase your new finds and change your strategy as you push your mega-museum towards becoming Two Point County’s star attraction.
There’s always plenty to do in Two Point Museum as you also need to keep staff happy, guests entertained, donations plentiful… and children off the exhibits!
Send your team of specialists on daring adventures to locate and retrieve rare artifacts across a range of exhibit types to varied levels of quality. As your team embark on more expeditions, you’ll begin unlocking locations hiding exciting new exhibits in many themes and styles, ranging from prehistoric to… well, let’s keep it a surprise!
Display these finds in your museum, keeping them well protected from the elements, vandals, thieves, and mischievous children. Keeping frozen cavemen on ice, security cameras alert and artifacts well-guarded to ensure your museum runs well.
Unleash your creativity as you design your museum from top to bottom. With deeper customisation options, there are more ways than ever before to maximise your guest’s happiness, from tweaking the decorations to arranging the perfect gift-shop display.
Once you have set the perfect ambiance, organise guided tours led by engaging experts to give your guests the perfect day out. You can even highlight exhibits with the highest buzz - those that are show-stopping, informative, and aesthetically pleasing are sure to attract the most donations!
We thought from some of the clues Two Point Studios was putting out from its early teasers that this may have been about a Theme Park game, but after having loved our playthrough of Two Point Hospital and Two Point Campus, we’re delighted to see that its going to be about a Museum.
Theme Hospital designers Mark Webley and artist Gary Carr are still involved with the project.
Playable Locations and Maps for Two Point Museum
Memento Mile, Wailon Lodge, and Passwater Cove are the locations revealed to be playable in Two Point Museum.
Once serving as a quaint, cosy holiday location for Two Point County in its prime, Wailon Lodge now lies in ruin, considered too remote, too old-fashioned and too close to the Netherworld Rift for the living. The Lodge is now overshadowed by tales of furniture moving by itself, a dreadful train whistle echoing across the valley and other blood-curdling rumours.
