Metro Exodus might soon shed its Epic Games Store exclusivity, but fans hoping to see it in a DRM-free form on Gog.com will have to wait longer.
Last year, the post-apocalyptic first-person shooter signed one of the more controversial Epic Games Store exclusivity deals after being announced on Steam. One year later, Metro Exodus makes its way over to Steam but not Gog.com.

“We have no current plans to launch Metro Exodus on GOG in the immediate future.”, replied the official Metro Exodus Twitter account to a fan.
While the hopes of many might have been dashed for the near future, the first two Metro titles eventually made their way over to Gog.com. Perhaps, once the “immediate future” has passed, the title will also make its way to Gog.com.
Those who avoided picking up on Metro Exodus during its timed exclusivity on the Epic Games Store will be able to purchase a Steam copy starting with February 15.
On February 11, Metro Exodus will receive its second and final piece of DLC, Sam’s Story. Check out our list of Epic Game Store exclusives to see the other titles whose exclusivity period expires in the coming months.
