As you make a name for yourself in Calradia, the world of Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord, you’ll soon discover that having the best companions can greatly enhance your army’s strength and reliability.
But how do you go about finding the best companions in Bannerlord? We’ve got the answers for you.
Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord Best Companions
Keeping track of all the companions in your campaign can easily be done using Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord’s encyclopedia. Press N, click on Heroes, then scroll down and select the filter for Wanderer under Occupation. This should result in only companions being listed.
Clicking on each of their entries gives you valuable information about them, including stats and where they were last seen, making it possible for you to track them down and potentially recruit them into your army. But how can you tell which of them is the best companion?
The trick to uncovering Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord’s best companions is knowing that their surnames dictate their skill archetypes. This means that while two different Anaheids might have different skills, two different Willowbarks or the Luckys will always have the same set of skills.
Here are the best Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord companions that we’ve found thus far alongside the skills that make them stand out:
- the Healer - 80 Medicine
- the She-Wolf/Coalbiter/Bloodaxe - 200 Two Handed Weapons
