After a long period of Early Access, Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord is finally released. However, that doesn’t guarantee a completely issue-free experience. One such problem players may encounter is the Module Mismatch Error, which can affect gameplay in different ways depending on the player’s preferred mode.
Let’s examine some of these issues.
Bannerlord Module Mismatch Error
The good news is that the Module Mismatch issue isn’t typically a major concern for players. It simply indicates that the game has been updated, and the save file being used needs to be updated as well to match the latest version of Bannerlord.
However, this can sometimes cause problems with any mods that are installed. If you encounter such issues, there’s no need to worry. Often, removing and then resubscribing to the mod in question can resolve the problem. However, be sure to backup your configuration files beforehand, as the last thing you’ll want is to have to reconfigure a complex mod if this happens to you.
You can find these files in your Documents\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\Configs folder.
