Nacon and Eko Software have announced that their hack-and-slash co-op RPG Dragonkin: The Banished will be available for early access on PC from March 6, 2025.
Eko Software says that its Lead Game Designer, Jonathan Gabrielli, will discuss the new features in a video released tomorrow. The video will give players a detailed look at the features that are ready for the early access release of Dragonkin: The Banished.
Here’s an overview:
In this original adventure, which can be played alone or in co-op with up to 4 players, players choose one of the four available heroes with their own abilities and combat techniques, and set off to explore several environments, each with its own monsters, resources and challenges. Gradually, they develop their character through a skill grid called the Ancestral Grid. This is a truly unique mechanic that requires players to build their own skill tree by strategically placing Fragments obtained during gameplay, juxtaposed with multiple modifiers. Each hero has their own grid that offers endless combinations to create a truly unique character and combat style.
The co-op mode will be available when the console versions fully launch later in the year. Only three of the four heroes will be playable in Early Access.
Dragonkin: The Banished will be released on PC first via Steam, but console versions are planned and will be ready for the full launch later in the year. It’s coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
