Nightingale aims to become February’s most notable survival game and, despite what’s looking like a rocky launch, its patch notes timeline spared no time delivering hotfixes and updates.
Nightingale’s first hotfix was deployed shortly after the title entered early access, addressing one critical issue that was fairly widespread. Find below the entire patch notes timeline deployed so far.
Nightingale Patch Notes Timeline - Hotfix 1
Hotfix 1 went live on February 21, 2024, tackling the majority of causes for the “Running out of GPU memory” error that occurred on graphics cards which exceeded the game’s minimum requirements.
In addition, it also addressed issues with rebinding the arrow keys while ensuring that pressing Tab + I no longer crashes the game.
This is very likely only the first in a long chain of updates and hotfixes that will not only fix other problems but also add new content to the game, including additional realm cards.
Developer Inflexion Games has yet to reveal its plans regarding the exact cadence of these patches, but we should hear more in due time.
Since we’re talking about an always-online game, there’s a good chance that most updates will be preceded by a longer or shorter period of maintenance.
It’s likely safe to assume that the first weeks will be spent working on smaller fixes for pressing issues that pop up as players begin exploring the title’s whimsical and equally deadly worlds.
