No Man’s Sky’s Twitch Drops are on the way, publisher and developer Hello Games has announced, giving players an extra way to earn in-game rewards.
Twitch Drops support was added in today’s Expeditions Update, which also features a plethora of other great additions. Better yet, the first campaign is right around the corner, promising a new set of rewards in each of its five days.
Kicking off tomorrow, April 1, and concluding on April 5, No Man Sky’s first Twitch Drops campaign rewards players who watch streams bearing the Drops Enabled tag with different in-game items, depending on the amount of time they spend watching.
To earn them, you’ll first need to link your Steam, Xbox, or PlayStation account to your Twitch account on the game’s dedicated Twitch drops page.
From that point on, simply look out for live streams with the Drops Enabled tag and watch away. You’ll get a notification on twitch when you’ve earned rewards and can check your progress towards the next on the Twitch Drops Inventory page.
The developer recommends claiming the rewards within the first 24 hours, after which they’ll appear in the Quicksilver store aboard the Space Anomaly. If you’re running the game at the time, you may need to relog in order to see them.
