No Rest for the Wicked, the action-RPG from Ori and the Blind Forest developer Moon Studios, will be detailed further in a digital showcase that goes live this Friday, March 1 at 9 AM PDT/12 PM EDT/ 5 PM GMT.
Aside from a closer look at the studio’s first foray into the ARPG genre, anyone tuning in can grab a set of Twitch Drops that help them hit the ground running when the title launches later this year.
No Rest for the Wicked Digital Showcase
The Wicked Inside digital showcase promises a “dive into Wicked’s brutal, precision-based combat,” alongside its “new and inventive mechanics that aim to push the genre forward, and so much more.”
To obtain No Rest for the Wicked’s first set of Twitch Drops, you’ll need to watch eligible livestreams for a total of 60 minutes between March 1 at 9 AM PDT/12 PM EDT/5 PM GMT and March 4 at 9 AM PDT/12 PM EDT/ 5 PM GMT.
Here is a full breakdown of the rewards and their required watch time:
Twitch Drop | Watch Time |
---|---|
Weapon Shard | 15 minutes |
Armor Shard | 30 minutes |
“Dance” Gesture | 45 minutes |
2 Fallen Embers | 60 minutes |
While the “Dance” gesture is purely cosmetic, the weapon and armor shards allow you to upgrade an armor and weapon of your choice. The two Fallen Embers then grant entry to the ominous-sounding Cerim Crucible.
The rewards first need to be claimed in your Twitch dashboard after meeting their respective watch time requirements.
When the title launches, you’ll need to access the in-game Twitch link and “authorize” it with the popular streaming platform.
From that point on, you can redeem your rewards from Captain Randolph in Sacrament.
No Rest for the Wicked is currently expected to enter Steam Early Access at some point between April and June 2024.
