Oculus Quest is essentially the VR revolution that we've all been waiting for. Featuring no wires, no external sensors, and no need for an additional PC connection, this variant of the popular Oculus VR kit is aiming to become ubiquitous on the gaming market, and it just might succeed in doing so.
Not only have Facebook prepared a very, very competitive pricing scheme for their upcoming VR set, but they've also got dozens of launch titles prepared to go along with the set, as well as a Star Wars-themed game lined up for release.
Oculus Quest is a first all-in-one VR gaming set, which will be coming out sometime in Spring 2019 at the price of $399. This, you might recognise, is extremely competitive in the VR niche, where headsets themselves reach $300, and then require a powerful PC and additional periphery as well.
This won't be the case with Oculus Quest, since it's going to have everything important packed in through some Facebook magic, which is without a doubt going to put VR tech in the spotlight like it never was before. They've also got 50 standalone games ready to go with Oculus Quest on launch, including Robo Recall, The Climb, and Moss.
As if all this wasn't enough, also announced was Star Wars: Vader Immortal, and though we don't know virtually anything about this game short of the fact that it'll come out on Oculus Quest, we can safely surmise that it is going to include lightsabers in some way, shape, or form.
