How many difficulty levels does Phasmophobia feature? What do you need to do in order to reach all of them?
Co-op horror game Phasmophobia has caught the eye of many supernatural investigation fans, some of which are likely wondering how many difficulty levels the game has in store for them.
Multiple difficulty levels ensure that you can dip into co-op games like Phasmophobia regardless of how casual or competitive your attitude towards games is. To this extent, the Early Access version of the title launched with a total of three difficulty levels.
Phasmophobia Difficulty Levels
Every Phasmophobia player begins their journey as a supernatural investigator with the Amateur difficulty level. These missions feature less aggressive ghosts while players get 5 entire minutes to safely set up their equipment.
As soon as you reach level 10, you’ll be able to access Intermediate difficulty level missions which only give you 2 minutes at the start during which you can set up your equipment.
Lastly, Phasmophobia’s Professional difficulty level unlocks as soon as you level up to 15.
In these missions, you no longer get a period during which you can safely set up equipment, ghosts are much more aggressive, and sanity drains at a higher rate.
The higher the difficulty level, the less insurance you get on your gear, should the ghost get the best of you.
