PlanetSide Arena is the next entry in the sci-fi shooter series and Daybreak is moving away from the focus on territorial control that PlanetSide 2 had. Instead, Arena gets closer to a Battle Royale, just on a much bigger scale than anything presently out there.That’s mostly due to how its Massive Clash mode pits two teams of 250 players each against each other on a immense map. Assault Rifles
Versatile weapons which pull their weight at most ranges, Assault Rifles are confirmed to be a part of PlanetSide Arena. Series veterans will recognize the TORQ-9 which makes a return. One possible underbarrel attachment for Assault Rifles is a rocket launcher which is bound to come in handy when dealing with vehicles.
Sidearms
In a match with 250 players, it’s safe to say that there’ll be plenty of things to shoot at. The problem with ammo is that it comes in a finite amount, which might leave you vulnerable. That’s when swapping to your trusty Sidearm comes into play, as they won’t be missing the fun in PlanetSide Arena.
SMGs
