Bannermen is a game that combines the new with the old to create something that, at the same time, looks like it belongs in the early 2000s and in a contemporary games' industry context. Featuring a semi-fantasy medieval setting, Bannermen offers everything we've come to expect from the genre, and more.
During the summer, developers have held two fairly successful Alpha Weekends, and doing so, attained the attention of over 1000 players who all had their part in providing developers with useful feedback for future iterations of Bannermen.
Developers of Bannermen intend to continue this pattern with three more such Alpha Weekends, and these will be held on the following dates: 29-30 September, 13-14 October, 27-28 October. In-between these consecutive tests, developers will adjust unit balance depending on community feedback.
Compared to the previous alpha tests, developers of Bannermen will have introduced brand new features into the game, including but not limited to playable hero units, brand new mooks and structures, an updated pathfinding AI, and more.
To participate for free, potential players need to join the official Bannermen Discord and claim a proper Steam key there. Developers promise that the process takes only a few moments, and is very simple and straightforward from that point on. Additionally, if you've already claimed an alpha key before, you will simply be able to update your Steam installation and keep on cracking.
