Rage 2 is out now, and it boasts a wide, expansive open-world full of dangers. To get by, you’ll need to upgrade your gear as quickly as possible, and to do that, you’ll need cash and Feltrite. The easiest ways to get these are in the game’s equivalent of loot chests - Rage 2 Storage Containers.
These Storage Containers can be found in every location, and you’ll want to track them all down - however, it can be quite difficult, as they do blend into the background slightly, and especially in dark areas due to the lack of Brightness options. The good news, then, is that there’s a way to easily track Rage 2 Storage Containers. Here’s how.
How to Easily Find and Track Rage 2 Storage Containers
Storage Containers can be found all around the Rage 2 world, in fact every location in the game pretty much has at least 2, and sometimes as much as 7 or 8. You can check that location’s description on the map screen to find out exactly how many there are in that area, and you’ll get an updating quest pop-up every time you find one (or another collectable, like Datapads or Ark Chests).
They’re black boxes with pink lids, as you can see in the picture above, and they do tend to blend in with other boxes if you’re not looking carefully enough. However, they can be hidden too. making it even tougher to find them all. They contain either Cash or Feltrite, and you’ll need lots of both.
Fortunately there’s a way you can track Storage Containers!
First you’ll need to visit Dr Kvasir in the Sekreto Wetlands, as part of the game’s main storyline. Complete his mission, and you’ll have access to his Projects line of upgrades for your character. There are some really useful ones on here, but right at the top in Tier 1 there will be the upgrade to track Storage Containers!
As it’s in Tier 1 it’ll only cost a single Project Point, so get it - and whenever you get near a Storage Container, a Wi-Fi-like signal will appear under your compass at the top of the screen. It’ll increase in strength as you get close to one. Easy! You’ll still have to do a bit of hunting, but we hope that makes things a lot simpler!
