If you fancy yourself a herbalist, Red Dead Online has a plethora of plants, like the Parasol Mushroom, which you can pick provided you know the locations they grow in.
The Parasol Mushroom in Red Dead Online prefer well-drained soil and woodlands, which makes them likely to appear outside of just one or two locations, but also fairly tricky to spot by the untrained eye.
Red Dead Online Parasol Mushroom Location
It goes without saying that you should keep your eyes open while you’re traversing woodlands for Parasol Mushrooms. If you’ve played even a bit of the game’s story mode, Horseshoe Overlook is one familiar location where, with a bit of luck, you’ll find these bad boys.
Another popular Parasol Mushroom location in Red Dead Online is the area around Flatneck Station in the southwestern area of New Hanover. You can recognize them by their dome-shaped pileus.
Eating raw Parasol Mushrooms in Red Dead Online will only manage to poison you. Using them as a crafting component, instead, yields much better results such as Herbivore Bait or Special Horse Reviver.
