Resident Evil Village’s House Beneviento throws several puzzles at you and, after you’ve dealt with the pesky music box, you’re on the right path to solving the Film Projector Puzzle in the Study. First, however, you need to head back to the doll workshop to retrieve a missing Film Strip.
Interact with its head, then use the tweezers you recently acquired to remove the Film Strip from the doll’s mouth. Then, go all the way to the Study, where the House Beneviento Film Projector Puzzle awaits. Interact with the row of Film Strips on the table to add the missing one.
You can also read the note on the table to get a sense of the solution to the Resident Evil Village Film Projector Puzzle. It lists the following five things:
- 1. Rose's best friend in the whole wide world.
- 2. She really likes this fairytale.
- 3. The most important thing in the world to us.
- 4. A wedding gift from grandma.
- 5. Proof of Ethan's everlasting love for me.
Interact with the Film Strips and you’ll notice that each of the sentences above describes one of them quite well. You’ll simply need to arrange them in the order from the note: plush toy, Village of Shadows book, picture of Rose, typewriter, and wedding Ring.
Play the movie and a nearby bookcase will slide to the left, revealing a hidden passage you’ll have to explore as part of Ethan’s efforts to escape House Beneviento.
