Ring of Elysium is getting a huge new update before the end of the month, and developers have seemingly gone all-out to offer an entirely different experience from what we've come to expect from Ring of Elysium.
Ring of Elysium Volcanic Island map will bring with it too many new tools, locations, creatures, vehicles, and other assorted content to keep track of, and it's all coming on 16th of January.
Ring of Elysium Europa Island map is practically a whole 180 compared to the original snow-ridden level. Instead of avalanches, players will here have to contend with spurts of lava and various other volcanic activity, and with an increased focus on movement across water, ROE is opening up an entire new battlefield, too.
The trailer showcases massive underwater creatures, submarines, BMX bikes, and more but players ought to also expect new firearms and - perhaps most importantly - the grappling hook, which will offer an entirely new dimension of combat.
ROE Adventurer Pass Season 2 will introduce three new characters as well, though surely more interesting will be the various new elements that players will have to struggle against, including thunderstorms, heavy downpour, typhoons, and more.
