Popular pirate game Sea of Thieves is preparing for the launch of its fifth adventure. Titled The Forsaken Hunter, its start and end dates mark the period of time during which players can experience the next step in the game’s overall narrative.
Adventures are a new type of story-focused content introduced to Sea of Thieves in 2022. Aside from bringing more life and intrigue to the game’s world, some of them also give the community the power to influence the narrative’s direction. The Forsaken Hunter follows after such an adventure, its start and end dates likely being of interest to anyone who helped or try to thwart the saving of Golden Sands Outpost.
Sea of Thieves’ The Forsaken Hunter adventure has locked down its start date to June 30. It will stick around for precisely two weeks, its end date occurring on July 14.

A trailer released on June 27 gives us a hint of where the story is headed next, with Merrick – in his ghostly form – seemingly at the center.
It’s unclear if this adventure will have a major decision towards which the community can work, but we’ll know for sure when it finally releases at the end of June.
