Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is officially getting a PC version, after being initially announced as an exclusive title for the upcoming Xbox Series X console.
While this might not come as a complete surprise given how Microsoft’s current approach focuses on bringing more of its Xbox title to PC, having official confirmation is very much welcome for PC fans eager ot see Senua return in Hellblade 2.
Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 Confirmed for PC
The PC version of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 was confirmed by GM of Xbox Games Marketing at Microsoft Aaron Greenberg in a Twitter reply to a fan, as spotted by PC Gamer.
According to the reply, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is being developed “exclusively for Xbox and PC”.
The original title first launched on PS4 and PC, arriving eight months later on Xbox One. In the meantime, developer Ninja Theory was acquired by Microsoft. There’s currently no word on whether a PS5 version of the title will happen or not.
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 continues Senua’s story, judging by its trailer, but has yet to be given a release date. Considering it was the first title revealed for the Xbox Series X, which is set to arrive at some point during Holiday 2020, we expect the game to be a launch title for Microsoft’s new console.
It’s being made exclusively for Xbox and PC.
