Publisher and developer Pearl Abyss today revealed that fantasy arena fighter Shadow Arena is set to enter Steam Early Access next month.
Players will be able to try out Shadow Arena for free starting with Thursday, May 21.
Shadow Arena Steam Early Access
Shadow Arena focuses on 40-player PvP battles from which only one combatant or pair can emerge victorious. Players can choose from a roster of nine playable characters, each with its own fighting style and abilities.
As deadly as swords and other weaponry can be, a good flurry of spells can also be efficient at taking enemies down.
Shadow Arena’s levels also feature PvE challenges in the shape of a giant dragon and ancient ruin guardians.
Players will get to choose between three playable modes: solo, duo, and AI. The latter lets you hone your skills with Shadow Arena’s nine classes, learning proper ability timing and polishing up evading opponents’ attacks.
You can follow Shadow Arena on Steam and get a glimpse of it in action in the trailer below.
