Shadow of the Tomb Raider Release Times and Date

Shadow of the Tomb Raider will release on September 14, this Friday - unless you pre-order the Croft Edition, in which case you can play the game on Wednesday September 12.

As for the exact release times when it will be available to play, the Croft Edition will be available to play at 9:00 PT / 12:00 ET / 17:00 BST / 18:00 CEST. We're waiting on confirmation from Square Enix about the Friday regular base game release times and will let you know, but expect it to be the same as the Croft Edition.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider Preloading Times

Shadow of the Tomb Raider on Steam can be preloaded as of today, right now in fact! Obviously you'll need to have pre-ordered the game first. There is some debate on whether all editions of the game can be pre-loaded. The game's Steam page suggests that all versions of the game can be, but other sources say it is only the Croft Edition with the two day early access, and the regular version will be available for pre-loading on Wednesday. It's a little confusing.
