Publisher and developer Ubisoft has confirmed that both Skull & Bones as well as Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora are slated to launch at some point during its current fiscal year, which ends on March 31, 2023.
The two games are part of a “a diverse line-up of premium games” which the publisher expects will deliver “significant topline growth” alongside its upcoming free-to-play titles.
The release windows for Skull & Bones and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora were shared in the company’s full-year financial report.
CFO Frédérick Duguet then further clarified, in an earnings call, that the two games are expected to release in the second half of the financial year.
This essentially means that we can expect them to launch somewhere between October 2022 and March 2023, provided everything goes well.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is a newer title in the publisher’s portfolio, running on its Snowdrop engine, which is currently expected to arrive towards the end of 2022.
The troubled Skull & Bones, on the other hand, was revealed back in 2017, has gone off the radar several times, and was reportedly rebooted a few years ago.
