What’s the next patch for Smite 2? The closed alpha test period for Smite 2 begins on the 27th August, which is when everyone that purchased the Founder’s Edition will gain access, and during this time we will start to see the first patches and roadmap of updates for 2024.
We will track all of Smite 2’s patch notes and any updates released will be listed on this page. To keep you informed about what’s been updated and when we’ll provide a summary for each patch. Smite 2 Patch Notes and Roadmap of Updates
The closed alpha 2 update will aim to improve the matchmaking system with improvements made to how parties are implemented and a new system that should help elite players.
Runic Bombs will be making a return to Smite 2, dealing 300 Physical damage and applying Knockback to enemies, plus 1000 True damage to Minions and Structures while reducing their Attack Speed by 35% for 10 seconds.
The Hades god will be getting a slight visual change with the closed alpha 2 update, and can now be seen wielding his iconic Bident weapon.
Susano will be getting some audio changes too, although more details will be provided in an update show that will take place later this week.
The Smite 2 Closed Alpha 2 update is due to be released on the 17th of September.
