Space Marine 2 Dark Angels Release Date
Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2’s post-launch roadmap gave us a pretty good look at what to expect from the fantastic third-person shooter game past its first season, which began with the game’s 1.0 launch on September 9, 2024. More PvE missions, guns, PvP arenas/modes, and enemies, among other things, are coming our way. And that’s just the stuff we know about. As for the Dark Angels chapter pack, when will season pass owners get their hands on it?
- Space Marine 2 – Dark Angels chapter pack, which includes cosmetics, champions, and weapon skins, is set to arrive on December 10th
An official update came straight from Saber on October 31, highlighting the game’s fantastic launch and growth (reaching 4.5 million unique players so far) and the first pieces of playable content which came with Season 2 at no additional cost.
Update 4.0 added “a new PvE mission featuring the huge Hierophant Bio-Titan enemy, the harsher Lethal difficulty level for the most levelled-up Marines, and the photo mode for Operations (only when playing solo).” Following a quick fix with patch 4.1.
We don’t have specific dates yet for either the Neo-Volkite pistol or the Dark Angels chapter pack, but it seems that the new weapon will arrive first, with the long-awaited Dark Angels coming in early December. That update, which will potentially be 2024’s last major one, will also include the Tzaangor Enlightened enemy and a new PvE map (Obelisk) set on Demerium, so think of it as a proper mid-season refresh like other multiplayer-oriented games do.
Stay tuned for more updates on this front as they come. While we’re expecting the new gun to drop in the coming weeks, the ‘Dark Angels update’ should be a big one that will surely arrive with further changes and improvements to what’s already in the game too.
