The Blackout Club is, essentially, a Stephen King book in playable form, where up to four players take control over kids as they try to figure out why is it that all the grown-ups of a certain town behave odd at night.
This first-person adventure horror experience promises a type of cooperative stealth experience we've not yet had the chance of playing, and we are most excited about finally getting to play the game come July! Find more information on this game and its release date down below.
Since players will have to help one another to sneak around the town and its secretive underground while avoiding open confrontations, The Blackout Club will function like a sneaky Left 4 Dead type of game, except potentially even creepier and more dreadful than that.
Faced with the mysterious entity of The Angel, children of the town of Redacre have to try and figure out what the hell happened to their missing friend, and uncover the dreadful truth whether they want it or not.
The Blackout Club will launch on 30th of July, so it's not that long of a wait now, but if you're absolutely, positively sure you're going to be playing this game, you can find it for pre-purchase on Steam at a lovely 20% discount.
