Steam Winter Sale 2018 is very nearly upon us, and though there's not a concrete start-end date in sight, we do have a solid tip on the general timeframe of it all.
Keen readers of Game Watcher will remember a recent leak which told us with considerable accuracy just when and how this year's sales are going to be active, and since the prediction was correct in regard to Halloween and Autumn Sales, one can surmise it'll be right with Winter Sale, too.
Now, it may be worth noting that the exact start and end times noted in that leak were off a tad, but we're talking about a difference of hours - no more. The dates were spot-on, and really, it seems fairly likely that the Winter Sale is going to follow the same pattern.
Without further ado, the Steam Winter Sale 2018 is going to kick off on 20th of December, stretching all the way to 3rd of January for all of our purchasing needs. If there's ever been a gamers' spending amplifier, surely we're talking about Steam during major holidays, and there's no reason to believe this year is going to be any different.
