Sci-fi grand strategy title Stellaris’ patch 2.2.5 is now live, with the upcoming 2.2.6 patch currently in beta.
Patch 2.2.6 introduces a hefty amount of smaller tweaks and fixes, while bringing a significant balance pass to Stellaris’ Machine Empires.
Players jumping in to play as a Machine Empire after the balance changes introduced with patch 2.2.5 will find that they get 50% more resources from mining bases, their tech drones produce 6 base energy instead of the previous 4, while agri drones produce 5 base food instead of 6.
The capital planet of Machine Empires</b> now grants +5% drone output, while new Machine Empire colonies start with 2 replicator jobs. There are multiple small changes introduced with Stellaris’ patch 2.2.5 and you can check them out in the patch notes post over on Steam.
Patch 2.2.6, available on Stellaris’ beta branch, aims to make managing economy and population easier through “a new, reworked planet management screen, with the objective of making it easier to see relevant info about a world and make informed decisions”. Patch 2.2.6 also features a reworked ship upgrade system.
