Strange Brigade has been out just a couple of months and it's one of our favourite games of the year, and now in a somewhat surprising turn of events the first Strange Brigade DLC expansion is out now - along with a new character, Tessie Caldwell.
Strange Brigade Isle of the Dead is Episode 1 of 'The Thrice Damned' series of DLC expansions, and you can check out the first screenshots and the trailer for it below. Additionally, the 'American Aviatrix' Character Pack is also out and that adds new character Tessie Caldwell, daredevil American pilot. Both are included in the Season Pass.
The Thrice Damned Episode 1: Isle of the Dead adds a brand new mission to the game, which continues the pirate story of the Dread Captain Tiberian that was the highlight of the main campaign - in fact we were sad it was confined to just one mission, now we know why.
Isle of the Dead is the first part of a three-part DLC campaign that will be made available gradually over the next few months. Additionally, the new American Aviatrix Character Pack is out now and that includes Tessie Caldwell, "the irrepressible but destructive Colbeck Wildfire SMG, the leaden but lethal Hyde & Sons pistol, the ice-cold Glacier Bomb and Tessie's explosive Infernal Firestorm amulet power".
Also available now is some free DLC as well, three additional maps taking place over Score Attack and Horde Mode.
The Thrice Damned Part 1: Isle of the Dead costs £5.59, and the American Aviatrix Pack is priced £6.39, and both are available in the Season Pass.
