In Stray players find themselves guiding a feline protagonist on various fetch quests, one of which occurs in chapter 4. In this specific chapter, you’ll be tracking down essential notebook locations to progress through Stray’s main story.
Upon arrival at Momo’s house, marked by a large, orange, glowing neon sign, finding the four Stray notebook locations becomes a crucial task. The Guardian will direct you after you show him a postcard, and a camera pan will highlight the location.
Stray Momo Notebook Locations
The quest for the notebooks begins with a conversation with Momo to learn about his sadness. Soon after, B-12 chimes in, informing you of three other notebooks waiting to be found.
As you leave Momo’s place, the drone assists by identifying a symbol that matches the one in the notebook. This symbol will guide you to Stray’s remaining three notebooks. Observing from the railing, you’ll see the other two on your left and right.
Stray Zbaltazar Notebook Location
The next adventure starts with the Stray notebook location on the left. Head down to the lower level, pass the Companions tossing paint buckets, and approach the symbol.
An easy entrance eludes you, so climb up near a large pipe to find a note reading “Ventilation Power Supply” and a battery. After removing the battery and navigating around it, climb up and hop down towards an orange light. With the fan now stopped, proceed to Stray’s Zbaltazar Notebook location.
Once you locate Zbaltazar’s notebook on a nearby rug (possibly needing to move some obstacles), escape through a window, then turn left to view the remaining symbols.
Stray Doc Notebook Location
Next, venture to the Stray notebook location on the right. Follow the rooftops to enter a book-filled apartment. Navigate through the stacks of books to find keys to Doc’s safe and a helpful note.
Retrieve the keys, locate the safe, and you’ll find Doc’s notebook location, bringing you closer to resolving one of Stray’s core narrative puzzles.
Stray Clementine Notebook Location
To reach the fourth Stray notebook location, it’s wise to traverse the rooftops, utilizing a fairly wide pipe to guide your way.
Enter through the window, then move forward, slipping through one of the cat-sized openings in the wooden door. Make a left turn and get past the next door, then make a right. Hop onto the desk, and Clementine’s notebook will be visible on your left side.
