Surgeon Simulator 2 now has a release date, publisher and developer Bossa Studios revealed in the game’s latest Creation Mode trailer.
Surgeon Simulator 2’s medical facility opens up on August 27, letting any would-be medics try their awkwardly moving hand at performing heart surgeries using completely legitimate medical equipment such as plungers or shovels.
But while the surgery segment alone features multiple improvements over the original – including 4-player co-op –, the Creation mode greatly increases the sequel’s scope.
Surgeon Simulator 2 Gets August Release Date and Creation Mode Trailer
As shown in the Creation mode trailer you can check out below, Surgeon Simulator 2 will give players access to the very tools used to build its levels.
On top of that, players will have free reins to build whatever they want in Surgeon Simulator 2’s Creation Mode. The trailer alone showcases a room with a massive dining table, an intricate maze and a basketball court, among other creations.
Whether used as a simple diversion from mastering Surgeon Simulator 2’s different operations or as your main mode, you can upload the levels you build in Creation Mode for other players to try out.
Pre-ordering Surgeon Simulator 2 will grant access to its closed beta running between August 7 and August 9. On PC, the game is one of many Epic Games Store exclusives.
