During Hooded Horse’s PAX East Publisher Showcase, we got a look at Romanian studio Hellride Games’ tactical space battle sim Capital Command.
In Capital Command, players take the helm of colossal warships that carry a staggering arsenal of destructive weaponry and go into battle against enemy ships that are likely to pack just as much firepower themselves.
Sent out into the far reaches of space, players will face a mysterious threat that will require a winning bond with a loyal crew if it is to be overcome.
Hellride Games is priding itself on creating a realistic space combat sim, with particular attention to detail in strategy, inertia, and its effect on combat.
There’s no concrete release date for Capital Command right now, but it’s tentatively set for a 2022 launch on PC as it stands.
