World War I multiplayer first-person shooter Tannenberg is gearing up for its console release later this month, which it plans on celebrating with the addition of a new map set in the fortified town of Przemyśl.
Tannenberg’s upcoming Przemyśl map will be available starting with July 24, when the game launches on Xbox One and PS4. PC players will get to experience WWI’s longest siege on the same date.
“Large fortifications make this a very different battlefield compared to the generally more open areas seen in many Tannenberg maps”, reads a press release describing how the shooter’s newest map aims to add more variety to its roster.
Tannenberg Przemyśl Map and Console Launch
Tannenberg is the Eastern Front counterpart to Verdun, focusing on 40-player battles which task players with capturing and holding key sectors, emulating actual World War I battles.
We gave Tannenberg an 8.5 in our review, praising its “fantastic attention to detail in the design of weapons and troops” and rewarding tactical gameplay.
