The Commission: Organised Crime Grand Strategy is exactly what it says on the tin: a Mafioso-themed grand strategy title in which players take over one of the offered families and make an attempt at bringing the city of New Shore under their thumb.
Originally released on 23rd, The Commission has already received two updates: one major, while other a simple hotfix, in an attempt to fix whatever issues the game might have post-release.
With 1.01, and 1.02, when it comes to rackets, devs have increased the cost range so as to improve the sense of progression for players, as well as more clearly defining what the "starter" rackets are. Furthermore, they've made family specialisation more viable by making racket perks more affordable.
Great strides have also been made in the AI department, who are now less likely to invest themselves into bankruptcy, and might also periodically shift priorities between profit, recruitment, and conflict. There's also a number of bug fixes that serve as a sort of an additional polish to The Commission.
In what is a strange twist, developers are only now hoping to finalise the game's tutorial, though it's good that the feature is being worked on, to be sure. At the time of writing, until the 30th, The Commission will be offered on Steam at a 10% discount (€15,11), so get it if you're into this sort of game.
