The Division 2 has got a major loot-related bug that's been present since the game's beta build hit, and it's still there, threatening to potentially disrupt Division 2's loot economy. It seems that the problem is far more pervasive than we first thought.
The Division 2 loot exploit has players claiming 3 Golden items in no more than 25 minutes of trying, and that's at level 19, which is still a far cry from reaching the game's level 30 endgame.
As depicted in the video below, The Division 2 unlimited loot glitch was triggered seemingly at random, and allows you to keep coming back to a single opened loot crate, spawning brand new items every time you come close enough.
Since the bug's been present since beta, it seems that Ubisoft is having a hard time nailing down precisely what's causing the issue. The latest update has no reference to the problem, either, so a fix might not be coming anytime soon.
Interestingly, the original Division had a similar problem that also took a while for Ubisoft to resolve. We'll see how things go, and in the meantime, check out the video to see how the bug works in practice.
