The Division 2 was sold on a number of promises, one of which was that Ubisoft were going to make endgame much better this time around. The introduction of the Snitch, a lead-in NPC for the Cassie Mendoza vendor selling rare items was one of these improvements.
The Division 2 Cassie Mendoza is a special vendor which sells special named armour and armaments. Her initial location isn't showcased directly in your world map, and in order to unlock her shop (which moves every 36 hours), you're first going to find The Snitch as he prowls about Washington DC.
Where to Find The Snitch in The Division 2?</h2>
The Division 2 Jared Nash also known as the Snitch, is not an easy NPC to track down. Constantly on the move, the Snitch appears seemingly randomly at dozens of pre-selected locations - all of which are instance specific to every player. There's no conclusive list of all of Snitch's spawns, but we can point you in the direction of some of the most popular ones:
- Northeast from the Safehouse in the Constitution Hall area, to the west from the White House; the Snitch is in a tent nearby
- Near the monument in the northeastern portion of West Potomac Park
- Southwest area, the Snitch can be hiding out in a building to the south of the zone
- Downtown East area, not far away from shanties in the northeastern corner
- near the entrance to the tunnel leading to the Roosevelt Island stronghold
- northeast from the White House, in a back alley
- the Snitch can also be found stalking the bakery in a shopping mall located in the northeast corner of the Constitution Hall zone
We've also got reports of the Snitch running around in Judiciary's Square, as well as close by the Potomac Refugee Camp, but these are just a handful of the many, many other places where the Snitch might spawn.
Anyhow, once you do find him, just speak to the Snitch in order to reveal the current location of Cassie Mendoza, and then hope for the best in regard to her vendor inventory. You'll also have the chance to take up doing special quests for the Snitch, if you are so inclined.
We hope this information helps you out, and will keep it up-to-date with new information as we come across it. Happy hunting!
