SHD Tech farming can be kickstarted with a running start if you begin working on your side-missions as soon as they are made available. Not only are they going to net you a fair bit of XP, but they'll also be providing you with lots of SHD Points to spend on Perks.
SHD Caches are another thing you'll want to be on the lookout for: these black suitcase-looking things will be strewn about the game world mostly willy-nilly - there for you to pick up at your own behest. Of course, finding these is entirely random, and cannot easily be relied on for a constant source of SHD.
Instead, sticking with side-missions is going to be your best bet for getting lots of SHD Tech Points, and fast.
