The Division 2’s Title Update 3 went live today, bringing a new serving of content for players jumping into its intense firefights. As shown in the patch notes, the update also introduces the highly anticipated Operation Dark Hours Raid.
The update comes with an approximate download size of 6.5GB. Those eager to jump into The Division 2’s first raid will still have to wait a bit longer. Although introduced, the Operation Dark Hours Raid has yet to open its gates. More information and the raid’s opening times are said to “be revealed soon”.

Alongside the title’s first raid, The Division 2 Title Update 3 also adds the first two Classified Assignments, available exclusively for owners of the Year 1 Pass. Not only do these missions reveal details behind the fall of Washington DC, they also reward players with Backpack Trophies. The patch notes also reveal that a second Apparel event is now live, all with new outfits, masks, emotes and weapon skins to earn.
As of The Division 2 Title Update 3, loot containers reset at a specific time of day, while daily Hard and Challenge mission Projects have increased rewards. Not only that, but upon reaching Gear Score 500, you’re guaranteed to receive Gear Score 500 items from them. Loot in general now skews closer to the higher values of its allowed gear score, while forays into the Dark Zone no longer reward gear below a player’s average Gear Score. Better yet, they also guarantee Gear Score 500 loot once the player’s reached that threshold.
Thrower NPCs have had their accuracy decreased, while Tanks will deal significantly less melee damage after The Division 2 Title Update 3. Bounty XP has also been increased and, you’ll find that the Civilian Control Point Officers now wear pants. Talk about a hard-hitting update.
