Today, Geoff Keighley will unveil the nominees for this year’s Game Awards at 4:30 PM PT / 7:30 PM ET / 12:30 AM GMT.
The announcement will be live-streamed from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, featuring over 30 categories, such as the coveted Game of the Year.
The Game Awards nominees for 2023
We can speculate that titles such as Diablo 4, Starfield, Hogwarts Legacy, Baldur’s Gate 3, Alan Wake 2, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty could be among the contenders for Game of the Year, given the array of critically acclaimed games released this year.

The public can now cast their votes for each category on the Official Game Awards Website. The winners will be revealed on the 7th of December during a livestream that will take place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
The ninth edition of the event last year was a grand affair, boasting live orchestral performances, a lineup of celebrity guests including a special appearance by Hozier to sing Blood Upon The Snow, and it featured several new game announcements. We should expect the same this year. Elden Ring won 2022’s Game of the Year award.
