The Occupation was due to be released in just a few days, but unfortunately White Paper Games has revealed today that it's been delayed and will now release next year.
What's The Occupation's Release Date now? It will arrive on 5th February, 2019 on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
"We know that right now the game is so close to being complete and ready to play, but we also know that there are some tweaks and improvements that we need to make in order for it to be something that we’re proud to release and an experience that we’re happy to hand over to you all." said a spokesperson for White Paper Games in a statement that was issued today.
"We’ve spent the past 4 years living in the world of The Occupation so we see the short delay as a small sacrifice to make sure we create something that values your time. "
It's always a shame to see a video game get delayed, especially so close to release, but hopefully the developers will be able to take advantage of the extra time to present a great investigative thriller to us next year. The Occupation will be released on 5th February, 2019 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
