Mostly Useless
The cooking skill is truly considered one of the most useless in the game. It will only cost you money to train up. However, if you are an Ironman, being able to cook better may be useful, but looking at this skill from a normal account perspective, cooking is pretty much useless. Anyway, if you require some money – you should better visit RPGStash - OSRS gold is already there!
The construction is a very click-intensive and expensive skill. You won’t probably train it after level 99 and will not benefit from it, except for being in your own house. Of course, there is still some benefit from construction: preparing your armor for less DP or using the prom perks for fishing.
Thieving is a very fun skill to train, especially with safe cracking. But we cannot ignore the fact that thieving is pretty much useless.
Normal Skills
Mining is enjoyable. Anyway, it doesn’t have much use apart from some small money-making methods that can bring you around 1 million per hour. The same could be said for woods cutting. The best way to make money on woods cutting is probably cutting old trees.
Smithing is useful for Iron Man, as you can make your own armor, especially for melee. But for the main account, you should better buy it instead of crafting it yourself.
Fishing can also make a profit but it is not something really impressive, especially when you get to the top level and start killing bosses. Anyway, it is recommended to hook selfish or rock tales. Hunting is a very click-intensive and boring skill to train. It doesn’t benefit your account in the long run.
Agility is the skill we highly recommend you to train. This is one of the most important abilities for high-level players, as it is required for the quests and plagues. However, it is very slow to train and for the time you get into it – it seems to be not so special.
Important Skills
Runecrafting is a skill that can make you so much money and there are various money-making methods to increase your profit per hour. Farming might be a useful ability, but it depends on how you use it. Crafting is a really useful skill especially if you are an Ironman, as you need it to craft certain items. For the main account, it is also good, because you need it to create spider legs, decorated urns, etc.
