Ubisoft has now unveiled the system requirements for upcoming strategy game The Settlers: New Allies. Slated to launch this September, after a troubled development cycle, the title’s PC specs bring good news for those of us still relying on older PCs.
Despite the title boasting updated visuals, The Settlers: New Allies’ system requirements won’t have you rushing out to upgrade your hardware. It’s fitting, too, since the series has always presented itself as rather accessible.
The Settlers: New Allies PC Specs
In terms of graphics cards, the now-humble Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 and AMD RX 470 should be enough to carry you through the game without having you resort to playing using minimum settings.
Although the game’s storage space requirements remain a mystery, its Epic Games Store page shines a light on everything else we’ll need. Here’s how the list looks.

- OS: Windows 10 (x64 bit only)
- Processor: Intel i3-6100 / AMD Ryzen 3 1200
- Memory: 8GB (Dual Channel)
- Direct X: DirectX 11
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 950 2GB VRAM / AMD Radeon 550 2GB VRAM
The Settlers: New Allies Recommended System Requirements
- OS: Windows 10 (x64 bit only)
- Processor: Intel i7-6700 / AMD Ryzen 5 1600
- Memory: 8GB (Dual Channel)
- Direct X: DirectX 11
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 4GB VRAM / AMD RX 470 4GB VRAM
As is the case with other Ubisoft titles, you will need to log in using your Ubisoft account in order to play.
The English, French, and German languages will benefit from full support, extending to audio, menus, and subtitles.
A total of 10 other languages receiving partial support that only includes menus and subtitles. The Settlers: New Allies is currently slated to launch on February 17 and headed to PC.
