Publisher Sega and developer Creative Assembly today revealed the Ogre Kingdoms Race Pack as Total War: Warhammer 3’s early adopter bonus. The faction’s inclusion was foreshadowed by the arrival of Ogre Mercenaries in Warhammer 2 earlier in 2021.
Any players who pre-order Total War: Warhammer 3 or purchase the game during its launch week will receive the Ogre Kingdoms Race Pack for free and be able to rampage across its campaign map.
At the helm of Warhammer 3’s Ogre Kingdoms are Legendary Lords Greasus Goldtooth and Skrag the Slaughterer, who “lead an army of colossal warriors and primeval monsters in search of plunder, gold, and meat for their insatiable bellies.”
As far as campaign gameplay goes, they rely on “nomadic camps deep within the Mountains of Mourn,” always seeking to accept bountiful contracts and “add illustrious Big Names to their titles.”
Battles see the Ogre Kingdoms using long-range firepower to weaken their enemies before their monstrous cavalry delivers devastating charges into their broken ranks.
